Process and Reflections:
Since strawberry is in season now, I have chosen the process of eating a strawberry (changing).
Going into the process of drawing the first image was a struggle as I have mentioned, realistic drawings are not my strong suit. Luckily, I have captured the 5 stages of the process with my phone camera, and was able to tweak the shades and lightings of the drawings after the initial draw.
The harsh stroke on the strawberry leafs was a mistake, it got harder to erase at the end. I used an eraser to erase some parts of the strawberry seeds (highlighting) to define the texture of the fruit.

Process and Reflections:
For image seven, I definitely hold back on my grip of the lines, and was figuring out how to improve the highlights and shading as it still look quite a bit rough (not very clean). At first tried using white colour pencil for the highlights but it did not show up nor does it blend well with the 2B pencil. I realise I needed a more precise eraser.

Process and Reflections:
The eighth image was a great improvement from the first two images as I have changed some of my drawing techniques. I bought slim eraser capsules that is meant to attach on the top of the mechanical pencil. It was cleaning the lines easier, and my highlight areas (the strawberry seeds) are much more cleaner and defined. For the bitten part of the strawberry, I used the techniques of applying a shape, a semi circle; it looked well defined.

Process and Reflections:
For the ninth image, I tried to apply the same techniques. It seems that I could have handle the upper left edges of the lines better. The stroke of the highlighted part at the eaten part (upper left) is well defined, whereas the lower right does not have much line due to that part being transparent. The shading skill for the transparent parts seems difficult to achieve.

Process and Reflections:
I have tried my best to create the illusion of the transparent of the bitten strawberry, by smudging the area light, to create a light grey area. Then using the small eraser to highlight certain areas where I think the light hits.
I would say I enjoyed this weeks project the most, because it was new and I have learnt a lot regarding shading.
